Homemade Ferrero Rocher inspired balls

Homemade Ferrero Rocher inspired balls

Did you notice how, as we approach Christmas and New Year’s Eve, all brands start their marketing campaigns to make us shop more and buy our presents exclusively in their shops. Everywhere we look we see glittery decorated shop windows, full of shiny things and pralinés boxes. For some people, December is one of the most beautiful months; everything is shining in a new way, people are nicer and happier because of the upcoming holidays and time they are going to spend with their families. On the other hand, this is a stressful period for some, as, due to long working hours, they have to spend all their free time in shopping malls looking for presents for their loved ones. No matter how hard you try to ignore the madness of the holidays, the pressure is so strong that it in the end we all end up at the mall looking for presents. This exactly happeneed to me while I was in a mall today, looking for presents for my parents. This is the fourth New Year’s Eve I’ll spend out of Serbia, so I decided to send them some gifts. As I wandered the shops, I saw an enormous Ferrero Rocher ball with a bow on top, so shiny and bright that was imposible not to notice it. This year they made this big Ferrero ball, just like the classic small ones. I must admit, it looks so beautiful and classy that I was tempted to buy it, even though I stopped eating processed sweets.
After some thinking, I decided not to buy it after all, but to try to make my own, healthier version of Ferrero when I get home.
As always, I wanted to make a simple and easy recipe so I don’t have to spent too much time in the kitchen and to, this is the main reason, enjoy these perfect balls as soon as possible.
I’ll tell you one thing, this is one of the best sweets I’ve ever made and I’m sure it will be very popular among your guests during these holidays.
