I’ve been planning to visit Andorra for a long time because I love mountains and sometimes I really need to escape the city and relax. The synonymous for a town in the mountains that first occurs to my mind is snow, everything white and blue cloudless sky, but my first impression of Andorra la Vella was completely different. Grey sky, dark grey buildings and the rain that didn’t stop for hours, an enormous quantity of shops and people who push you constantly, aren’t something you expect to see when you arrive to this mountain town. Luckily, my opinion and impression of Andorra changed together with the colors of the sky by each hour I spent there. As the rain stopped and blue dots began to appear in the sky, the town got another tone.
The old part of the town is so cute, short stone buildings are packed tightly and the amazing nature dominates the entire scenery and make us feel unimportant. It was a pleasure to spend a weekend in this place and I hope to be able to return there soon and enjoy the town covered in snow.
